Join Agua Latin Dance Sligo for Havana Sligo — a one-day Cuban dance festival with 5 workshops and an epic party in Sligo.
Get ready for a full day of Cuban music and dance! Agua! presents Havana Sligo, a one-day mini festival hosted at the elegant 4-star Sligo Park Hotel, which will be home to the biggest dance floor in the country. We're bringing together top Cuban-style artists from all over Ireland for a series of high-energy workshops and an unforgettable evening party with live animations and a special performance, running late with music until 2:00 AM and the bar open until 1:30 AM.

Maria and Alex bring over 20 years of dance teaching experience and have taught at festivals in 10+ countries. Founders of BailaMar Bachata Camps and BailaMar Academy Dublin, they now share their passion for traditional dances worldwide. Don’t miss their special Son workshop — the elegant Cuban dance that gave birth to Casino.

Mark & Carol, The Salsa Medics, bring over 15 years of Cuban Salsa expertise! After 5 trips to Cuba, they share their knowledge teaching Cuban Salsa and Rueda in Galway, Swords, Westport, and Ennis, in addition to teaching workshops across the country. We're excited for their Casino con Rumba and Rueda de Casino workshops with this beautiful duo.
Reparto
Juan González, the creator of Latin Dance Experience, possesses over 15 years of experience in Latin dance, including Salsa Casino, Bachata, and recently, he has begun exploring and sharing Reparto Cubano, a captivating Cuban variation of reggaeton. For over two years, he has been instructing Latin dances in Dublin, hosting social events, bachata competitions, and diverse dance workshops.
Cuban Salsa Men Style
With over a decade of experience, Virgili is an internationally acclaimed Cuban salsa dancer and instructor, trained by some of the most respected Cuban masters around the world. Specializing in Cuban salsa and Rueda de Casino, he brings authenticity, passion, and precision to every class. Virgili is the founder of Salseados Ireland, a dance school now based in Galway, previously established in Barcelona. In addition, Virgili is also the organiser of The Remix Dance Festival in Barcelona.
Cuban Salsa Lady Style
Meet Petra! Originally from the Czech Republic, she brings over 15 years of dance experience to Sligo, where she passionately shares her love for dance with the local community. She has competed in numerous international dance competitions, earning multiple titles and recognition. Her diverse repertoire includes Cuban Salsa, Bachata, Bellydance, and Brazilian Samba, showcasing her deep connection to rhythm and movement. Petra is one of the co-founders of Agua! Sligo, a growing dance school for Latin dance enthusiasts. She’s also the organiser of monthly social dance parties, creating vibrant spaces for people to connect and dance.

Agua Latin Dance Sligo is a Cuban Salsa & Bachata dance school based in the Northwest of Ireland. We run weekly classes, social nights, and monthly parties - and we’re proud to be growing a fun and friendly dance community.
